Man Surpasses Bruce Springsteen and Celebrates Rock Hall Nomination
In an impressive milestone, Mexican pop-rock band Man is set to break Bruce Springsteen's record for the most concerts in Los Angeles arenas this fall, performing 44 shows compared to Springsteen's 42. Vocalist Fher Olvera highlighted the significance of performing in Spanish, stating, "We're making history in this country." Their upcoming tour, titled "Vivir sin aire," kicks off on September 5 in San Antonio and wraps up on April 4, 2026, featuring a four-night residency in Los Angeles.
Celebrating their 40th anniversary, Man will visit cities they've never performed in before, such as Nashville and Detroit. A portion of the tour's proceeds will support their Latinas Luchonas program, aimed at helping single mothers. The band also received a nomination for the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, marking a historic moment as the first all-Spanish group nominated. They dedicated this honor to the Latino community, emphasizing the importance of unity and positivity through their music amidst current political challenges, inviting audiences to celebrate and connect at their concerts.
